Restoration of Old Photographs | Edwardsville Police Department

One speciality provided by Visions by Carol, Inc. (and one of my personal favorite things to do) is restoring old photos.  With today’s technology, old memories that seem faded and worn can look vibrant and provide an even better look into what life was like during that moment in time.

This is a before and after of the Edwardsville Police Department in the mid-1960’s.  I was shocked to see they wore red…yes red!  So different than today.  Also, the detectives were dressed like men heading off to the office, church or dinner out with the wife; so casual yet debonair.

If you have a photo that seems well beyond repair, don’t loose hope.  Let me take a glance at it and see if I can breathe a little bit of life back into that moment…a moment someone felt was important enough to document in order for others to enjoy.
