Lisa – Class of 2017
One of the perks for having my daughters grow up in the same community for over 15 years is they get to make amazing friendships. One perk in particular is this lovely young lady, Lisa. Lisa is one of the many amazing graduates of the Class of 2017. Being friends with both my daughters, I have known Lisa for what feels like a lifetime. She is one of the most kindhearted people I have ever met. She makes you smile the moment you see her. With her being older then my girls, I formed a special bond with her. When my girls were on Little Tigers Cheerleaders and I was their coach, she offered her time to help me with the squad. Why? Because that is the type of person she truly is; eager to help out without being asked; always trying to make the world a little better.
I have photographed her several times before for homecoming dances and proms. It was certainly my honor and pleasure to photograph her senior portraits. Such fun and vibrant colors, amazing fashion taste, and a beautiful smile from ear to ear. I am so excited for this girl… I mean, young woman, who has already traveled so much of the world and is about to head off to her biggest adventure yet…College! I know she will do astonishing things and be someone who makes positive changes in the world to make it a better place!

Such a pretty and proper little girl!
I can’t believe it is already time for an 18 month photo session for little Miss Johnna! Watching these little nuggets grow via photography really makes you realize how fast time flies. I mean, I swear I was photographing her big brother’s 6 month session yesterday! Now there are two little nuggets in the family!
Watching these two interact and smile for the camera was so fun! There really is a fabulous big brother-little sister bond and it shows in these photos. However, when it came time to photograph Johnna alone, she simply was spot on and continued to be full of cuteness!
Look at how she crossed her little hands and tiny feet. So proper and so adorable! Little girls in big puffy pink dresses dancing about can really make someone’s bad day a little brighter…That’s exactly what Johnna did in these photos. She really brought out the fun and playfulness of being an 18 month little girl. So much personality and spunk! It’s amazing how quickly children grow and become their own little person. It is something truly awesome to witness.
Little Miss Johnna, you keep smiling and having fun with your big brother! You both will have some pretty cool times, and yes troublesome times, but the bond between a brother and sister is truly special. Enjoy every moment!

Cordon Turns 2 – Too Cute!
Check out this handsome little man during his 2 year old photo session! I took his 1st birthday photos and already taking his 2 year old photos…That can be right? Did a year pass already? Anyone else wonder where 2016 went? Ha!
So, when it comes to taking photos of 2 and 3 year old kids, I never know what I’m going to get. Typically, there is a lot of running around, silly faces, bribery with toys and sweets, the occasional tears, and even the need to quickly bob and weave any objects being tossed at me…Ha! Well, I am happy to say none of that happened with this cutie! He strolled on in, sat down where as he was asked to, and then simply smiled and posed. A true professional at age 2! I was so shocked and extremely impressed.
We were able to take so many amazing photos. Cutest Cubs fan? He nailed it. Rough and tough biker toddler? He worked it. Sweet and playful? He was spot on! Such a versatile little man. Just adorable!
Whatever you are doing mamma, keep doing it! You are raising a very sweet and respectful little guy. I could photograph him all darn day!
