One Year Old Baby Photo Session|Remington

This is the first time I had the privilege to photograph Remington and his family. Remington’s mom, Christina, used to work with my husband several years ago. His dad, Rob, is a photographer for one of our local St. Louis news stations and therefore, shares the some excitement and passion for photography as me. During the session we joked and discussed how we both prefer to be behind the camera instead of in front of it…ha!

Well for being someone who, like me, isn’t a fan to be photographed; he did a pretty darn good job! Just look how much Big Brother Keaton is enjoying being tossed and held up by his daddy. Mommy did just as well with Remington. All those smiles and giggles… Some off my favorite things to witness and listen to during a family session.

After capturing a few of the entire family, it was time to focus on the main man…Birthday Boy Remington! Oh he did such a wonderful job. As much as Remington loved to show off his cute little teeth, I cant help but fall in love with the serious images that show off his cute pouty cheeks!

I laugh every time I look at the image of him holding the baseball. It looks like he is just ready and waiting for the opportunity to hurl it right at the camera. Besides that (risky) baseball and the adorable little baseball glove, Rob provided a miniature bat of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Such a huge coincidence as I spent my childhood in Arizona. Of course, since living out here, I have officially caught the Cardinals & Blues double whammy fever. As much as I now bleed red & blue, when STL is not playing… I must root for the Arizona D-Backs and Phoenix Coyotes. You can take the girl out of Arizona but you can’t take all the Arizona out of the girl. My Arizona family just wouldn’t allow it.
