Mommy & Me | Klaas

Love this family! Several years ago, I was honored to photograph their wedding and to witness them become a blended family. Not too far later, they welcomed a fun little addition; a third daughter. It was great to see how much the girls have grown and how well they get along.

When this family scheduled this session, I am not sure they were ready for the walking adventure I had planned. We had to take quite a walk through the woods to get to this beautiful location. Picture it… 3 ladies in sandals, two ladies wearing white pants/shorts, and one lively little nugget. Ha! It was totally worth the hike. My goal was to recreate an image I captured on their wedding day. This image was of the all four, holding hands, walking side-by-side, while the stunning sunlight illuminated their newly blended loving family. Did we get the image? We sure did! New little nugget included! I was so happy to capture this years ago and even more thrilled to capture it once again. Thank you Klaas Family for allowing me to do so!
